A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist providing telespeech services to students in grades K-8. This role focuses on delivering speech therapy to students in grades K-5 and 6-8 through virtual sessions.
Location: Kenner, LA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct telespeech evaluations and therapy sessions aligned with individualized education plans.
- Provide typical speech services targeting articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate with a dedicated facilitator who will assist by pulling students for therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and student progress.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, caregivers, and other educational staff regarding student needs and progress.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-aged children, specifically grades K-8.
- Proficiency in telespeech service delivery platforms and technology.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
