A contract opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists specializing in teletherapy to support schools in Fredericksburg, VA and Stafford County, VA. This role includes providing virtual speech-language services for students across multiple school settings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering teletherapy speech-language services to school-age children within assigned caseloads.
- Collaborating remotely with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintaining accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school district guidelines.
- Adhering to all virtual service protocols, including timely submission of background checks and credentialing documents.
Desired qualifications and skills:
- Active Virginia State license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience providing teletherapy or telespeech services in educational settings.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage students remotely.
- Familiarity with federal and state regulations governing school-based speech therapy.
- Ability to start mid-fall 2026 with contract extending through late May 2027.
Work schedule:
- Full-time remote position with an expected 37.5 hours per week.
- Several assignments available, including long-term coverage for maternity leave, replacement of a resigning SLP, and immediate sporadic coverage due to delayed start of other staff.
