Provide specialized speech-language pathology services through teletherapy in an educational setting, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This role involves delivering direct speech therapy, managing Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentation, and participating in virtual IEP meetings while serving multiple schools within the designated areas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering teletherapy speech-language services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate IEP documentation aligned with state and federal guidelines.
- Collaborating virtually with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams during IEP meetings.
- Adhering to all licensing and credentialing requirements, including obtaining necessary fingerprint clearances and official access badges.
- Coordinating caseload management across multiple school locations.
Qualifications and experience sought:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
- Proven expertise in providing teletherapy services within a school setting.
- Prior successful completion of assignments using teletherapy platforms highly preferred.
- Familiarity with virtual documentation and compliance procedures.
- Ability to manage caseloads and communicate effectively in a remote environment.
- Completion of fingerprinting and clearance processes in line with state education protocols.
Location and schedule:
- Services delivered remotely with assignments based in Fort Myers, FL.
- Work schedule of up to 35 hours per week, approximately 7 hours daily.
- Contract period from mid-August through late May.
