Telehealth Speech Language Pathologist | Florida
This position requires a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide telespeech and teletherapy services for students in grades K-12. The assignment combines multiple schools within the Golden Gate City and Immokalee areas, delivering direct speech therapy, completing Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentation, and participating in IEP meetings virtually. In-person evaluations are not part of the telespeech responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech therapy sessions through teletherapy platforms for students across elementary to high school levels
- Completing IEP paperwork accurately and on time
- Participating in virtual IEP meetings with educators and families
- Collaborating with educational teams to support student progress
- Maintaining compliance with Florida Department of Health licensure requirements and local credentialing processes
Qualifications desired:
- Active Florida Department of Health license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience with telespeech and teletherapy service delivery preferred
- Prior successful completion of teletherapy assignments is strongly preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload virtually while maintaining high documentation standards
- Familiarity with credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse
The contract runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with flexible scheduling options up to 35 hours per week (7 hours per day). Fingerprint clearance and obtaining a JLA badge are required before starting, with virtual work supporting easy access for professionals in the Bonita Springs, FL area.
