Remote Speech Language Pathologist in FL
Fort Myers Beach, FL
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services through telespeech and teletherapy for a diverse student population in the Naples and surrounding areas. Deliver direct intervention to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, while managing caseloads across multiple school locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech therapy sessions via teletherapy platforms, addressing individual student needs.
- Maintain accurate and thorough IEP documentation in compliance with educational guidelines.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings to collaborate with educators and families on student progress.
- Coordinate with multiple schools within Golden Gate City and Immokalee to balance caseload demands.
- Adhere to evaluation procedures, noting that diagnostic assessments are conducted in-person as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure.
- Proven experience in telespeech or teletherapy service delivery within school settings preferred.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual documentation practices.
- Successful completion of prior assignments with virtual speech therapy platforms is highly advantageous.
- Ability to secure required background clearances and JLA badge following fingerprinting protocols in Florida.
Location: Fort Myers Beach, FL with responsibilities spanning Naples and neighboring school areas.
Contract Details:
- Duration: August 11, 2026 through May 27, 2027.
- Schedule: Up to 35 hours per week, typically 7 hours per day.
- Position type: Full-time or part-time options available.
