This role involves providing virtual speech therapy to K-12 students, with a caseload spanning multiple schools in the Naples area. The position runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering up to 35 hours per week (7 hours per day), with flexible full-time or part-time scheduling options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services virtually to students ranging from elementary through high school.
- Complete and manage Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentation.
- Attend IEP meetings in a virtual setting.
- Collaborate remotely with educational staff and families to support student progress.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure.
- Experience with teletherapy or telespeech service delivery, preferably within school settings.
- Previous successful completion of similar virtual assignments is strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage documentation and IEP processes in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Clearance of fingerprinting through the AHCA Clearinghouse or willingness to complete necessary background checks.
- Familiarity with applying for a JLA badge, required for school district access.
Location: Although services are provided virtually, the position supports students within Golden Gate City and Immokalee areas near Naples, Florida.
