A contract position is available in the Denver area seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with expertise in virtual speech therapy and telespeech services. This role involves supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) within a school-based setting, with options for full-time or part-time schedules to accommodate different working preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect supervision of one or two SLPAs, depending on full-time or part-time assignment.
- Oversee Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and progress reports for students within the caseload.
- Ensure compliance with district policies and service delivery standards.
- Facilitate communication between SLPAs, students, families, and school personnel.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) certification.
- Valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license or equivalent (Speech Connectionist or Speech Therapist) covering ages birth through 21.
- Experience with teletherapy and virtual speech-language pathology services.
- Ability to complete required background checks and fingerprinting in compliance with district regulations.
