Make a difference in students’ lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with elementary school students from transitional kindergarten through fifth grade. You'll collaborate closely with educational teams and families while delivering services, conducting thorough assessments, and contributing to IEP development. This is an opportunity to support communication skills and educational growth in a positive school setting.
Desired Experience & Skills:
- Valid SLP licensure and CCC required
- Experience in school-based settings, especially elementary grades, is highly valued
- Comfortable providing a full range of speech-language services, including assessments, IEP participation, and both direct and consultative interventions
- Ability to manage a caseload with varied diagnoses and severity of needs
- CTC credential preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students in grades TK-5
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and present findings to educational teams
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver both direct therapy and consultative services based on student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
Role Details:
- Elementary caseload of approximately 60 students
- Serve one main elementary site
- 37.5 contracted hours per week
- Address needs ranging from general education to moderate/severe
