Step into a fulfilling role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year! This full-time contract position runs from August 13, 2026, through May 28, 2027. Work onsite, Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 3:30pm, dedicating 37.5 hours weekly to students at both elementary and middle school levels.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active North Carolina SLP license (or eligible for immediate activation)
- SLP-CCC credential required or willingness to supervise/mentor SLP Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF also accepted)
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred, but strong clinical candidates with pediatric experience are encouraged to apply
- Passion for helping students overcome communication challenges and reach their potential
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to students on your caseload
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct evaluations, maintain detailed records, and monitor student progress
- Engage with families and teachers to ensure coordinated support for each learner
- Participate in IEP meetings, RTI processes, and professional development as required by the school
