Speech Language Pathologist in Tappahannock, VA

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience supporting school-aged children preferred
- Strong collaborative and organizational skills
- Passion for fostering student growth and communication
- Comfortable guiding and collaborating with SLPA and CFY team members
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct intervention individually and in groups
- Document and track student progress; maintain compliance with state and school documentation requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families
- Supervise and provide guidance to SLPAs and Clinical Fellows as needed
- Engage in school-wide initiatives to promote positive communication outcomes
