Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Virginia SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience with K-12 school-aged students is ideal
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
- Comfortable supporting diverse caseloads and adapting therapy to individual student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services to a varied K-12 caseload
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports for each student
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise to best support each learner
- Supervise SLPA and/or support CFY development as appropriate
This contract position is scheduled for 37.5 hours each week for the full 26/27 school year, allowing you to immerse yourself in the educational community and witness student growth over time.
