Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – School-Based

Position Overview
As a school-based SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language therapy services to students. You'll play an important role in helping students strengthen their communication skills and achieve their educational goals.
Responsibilities
Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP.
Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records.
Prepare therapy materials and assist with therapy planning.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success.
Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as needed.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
Active SLPA license or certification in the state of employment.
Previous school-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary educational setting.
