Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active SLP license in Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience providing speech/language services in a K-12 setting is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, staff, and families
- Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Create individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs and IEPs
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to maximize student success
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation for service delivery and progress reports
