Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time Contract Position

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time school-based contract opportunity in the Tampa, Florida area for the upcoming school year. We are seeking qualified professionals who are passionate about helping students strengthen communication skills and achieve success in the educational environment.
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet all local and state certification and licensure requirements. Previous experience working with special education students and collaborating with families is highly preferred.
Position Details:
Full-time contract position
School-based assignment
New school year opportunity
Potential renewal opportunities based on performance while on contract
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in IEP meetings and assist in goal development and progress monitoring
Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, language, and social communication needs
Maintain accurate records, therapy notes, and progress reports
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Qualifications:
Active Florida SLP licensure and appropriate school credentials
Must meet all local and state regulatory requirements
Prior school-based experience preferred
Experience supporting special education populations strongly preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
