Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Tampa, FL

This contract role is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist who enjoys individualized work in a flexible setting. You’ll provide critical speech services to three students at their homes, allowing you to foster progress in a focused and supportive environment.
In this position, you’ll deliver therapy sessions to each student, all in a single day, with a total service time of approximately 5 hours. Your expertise will play a crucial part in helping these students achieve their communication goals, even while away from a traditional school environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience with school-aged students, ideally in a school or homebound setting
- Strong understanding of IEPs and ability to document progress effectively
- Compassionate approach with strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable traveling between student homes within the same area
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy to three students participating in the homebound program
- Conduct individualized treatment sessions, adapting strategies to each student's needs
- Collaborate with families and educational teams to monitor and report student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with program and regulatory requirements
