Step into a rewarding opportunity serving students across multiple locations in the West Palm Beach area as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the upcoming academic year. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working closely with diverse age groups and caseloads—your assignment and caseload will vary by location, allowing for both personal and professional growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current Florida SLP license from the Department of Health (SLP-CCC required)
- Previous school-based SLP experience (preferred)
- Ability to commit to 35 hours per week, onsite only (no teletherapy/VOCO)
- Flexible to work across multiple school sites; positions can be combined for one FTE (full-time employee)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Quick adaptability to new environments and a passion for supporting PreK–high school students
- Must successfully complete time-sensitive credentialing: background checks, fingerprinting (including AHCA Clearinghouse verification if previously fingerprinted in FL), and obtain a JLA badge
- Able to participate in and pass an internal eligibility interview (video format)
What You’ll Do:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for students as assigned
- Manage an evolving caseload based on the specific needs of each location
- Collaborate with educators and fellow support staff to create and implement IEPs
- Document progress and participate in team meetings
- Serve as a resource for families and staff regarding speech and language development
