You’ll be working on-site only, engaging with students from PreK to high school, with caseloads and age groups depending on your chosen locations. Those interested in professional development have the opportunity to supervise Clinical Fellows and earn semester stipends for each supervision period.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active Florida Department of Health SLP License (CCC required)
- Previous experience in school-based settings highly desirable
- Comfortable working with varied caseloads: ASD, Regular Ed, PreK, Ind, or ESE settings
- Willingness to supervise SLP-CFs for stipend eligibility
- Fingerprinting clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse and JLA badge requirements
- Ability to complete credentialing processes promptly
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services tailored to student-specific needs
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Write IEP goals and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain thorough documentation in line with district and state regulations
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff
- Travel between assigned school sites as needed to fulfill FTE
