Make a direct impact on student communication and academics as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) across multiple locations, supporting learners in one of Florida’s largest school districts! This full-time, on-site contract runs from August 10, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering flexibility in assignment locations and caseloads to build an FTE that fits your expertise and preferences.
As an SLP, you’ll work with diverse student populations—ranging from regular education to PreK, ASD, InD, DHH, and Head Start—in elementary, middle, and high schools. Select and rank your top three preferred school placements from a broad list so you can serve communities and ages that align best with your personal interests and skillset.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist license from the Florida Department of Health
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
- Please note: Not considering SLP-CFs or SLPAs for this role
- Ability to complete and/or verify Florida school district fingerprinting and JLA badge (we’ll help you with this process)
- Willingness to participate in an internal video interview as part of the eligibility process
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff
- Serve diverse caseloads—details vary by assignment, location, and age group
- Participate in IEP meetings and document student progress
- Supervise SLP-A staff, as needed, at designated sites
