What You Bring:
- Current, active Florida SLP License from the Department of Health (CCC required)
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt approach to diverse caseloads and age groups
- Commitment to full-time, on-site service between August 10 and May 27
- Successful completion of Florida fingerprinting requirements (including verification via AHCA Clearinghouse, if applicable)
- Willingness to participate in an internal video interview to assess fit
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy and services to students, as assigned
- Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and school teams to support student progress
- Provide clear documentation and regular progress updates
- Rotate between multiple school sites within the county, with locations flexible based on preference and need
