School Based Speech Language Pathologist needed in Tacoma, WA

This full-time, in-person contract position offers the chance to work with a diverse K-12 caseload. You'll help students reach their goals and play a vital part in their educational journey.
Key Qualifications:
- Current WA Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
- ESA certification (Educational Staff Associate) mandatory
- Must have valid fingerprint clearance through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
- SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- School-based experience strongly desired
- Ready to work with all elementary, middle, and high-school age groups
- Committed to delivering services on-site (no teletherapy)
Role Overview:
- Provide direct speech/language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise in communication disorders
- Develop customized plans to address the unique needs of each student on your caseload
- Collect and maintain accurate data and documentation per district and state guidelines
- Support a positive and inclusive school environment
