Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Sumner, Washington

You'll engage with a manageable caseload and work closely with staff to develop individualized plans, utilizing your expertise in pediatric speech therapy within a school-based framework. With a focus on quality care, there are no SLPAs on this assignment, allowing you to bring your specialized approach directly to each student.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State SLP license or eligibility by the assignment start date
- CCC-SLP credential (or Clinical Fellowship Year applicants welcome)
- Background in pediatric speech-language pathology, with school-based experience highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Desire to support diverse student needs and contribute to a positive school culture
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct assessment and intervention services to students within an elementary setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and education plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Consult with educators and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by school standards
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to coordinate student support
- Provide therapy exclusively—no supervisory duties over SLPAs
