Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Valid state license or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred
- Deep understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Skill in developing and implementing IEPs and participating in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
- Excellent interpersonal communication for engaging with students, families, and colleagues
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment to students with speech and language impairments
- Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with education teams to support student progress
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions within classroom and pull-out settings
- Educate and support teachers and family members on strategies for improving student outcomes
