Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Washington
- Previous experience working with students in school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage caseloads and engage in IEP development
- Familiarity with assessment tools, therapy techniques, and documentation procedures for school-age children
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with IEPs
- Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse communication needs, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with school and professional standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
- Offer consultation and resources to school staff to enhance communication supports within the classroom
