Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state Speech-Language Pathologist license or ability to obtain before start
- Prior experience or strong interest in school settings, especially with adolescents
- Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload independently
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- CCC-SLP preferred; strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply
Responsibilities and Core Duties:
- Provide direct and consultative speech/language therapy services to students in grades 6–12
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Document progress, maintain service logs, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning
- Adapt interventions to fit both individual and group settings
- Stay current with best practices and professional development in school-based SLP
