This full-time position, totaling 37.5 hours per week, seeks a skilled and dedicated SLP to step in for a backfill assignment, supporting students’ communication and academic success within a dynamic school environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Washington State SLP license
  • ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
  • Must have completed fingerprinting through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
  • SLP-CCC credential or working toward CCCs
  • Experience with K-12 student populations preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments, intervention, and support to K-12 students in a school-based setting
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ language needs
  • Track progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Adapt therapy approaches for diverse learning styles and needs in an inclusive school community
  • Attend team meetings, participate in professional development, and contribute to a positive and collaborative work culture
