Multiple contract positions are available to support students with diverse needs, including those with autism spectrum disorder and severe multiple disabilities, as well as students requiring dedicated behavioral support.
Whether you are a seasoned clinician or a Clinical Fellow, your expertise will make a significant difference in individualized education settings. Supervision is provided onsite for Clinical Fellows to ensure a solid and supported start to your professional journey.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellow
- Experience with students with ASD, multiple disabilities, or significant behavioral needs preferred
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and collaboration
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Willingness to work onsite in Syracuse or Cortland County
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments and individualized therapy
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with educators, families, and related service providers
- Support a 12:1:3 program (serving students with severe multiple disabilities) or an 8:1:1 setting (focus on behavior support) depending on role/location
- Collect data to monitor student progress and inform ongoing intervention
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
Available Roles:
- Two full-time positions in the Syracuse area (Onondaga County), 12:1:3 program
- One part-time position in the Cortland County area, 3-4 days per week in an 8:1:1 program
