Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists eager to support students and make a meaningful difference. These contract positions have immediate openings and are located in both Onondaga and Cortland Counties, with full and part-time options to best fit your needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligibility for SLP - CCC certification; open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) with supervision provided on-site
- Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), severe multiple disabilities, and/or behavioral challenges preferred
- Ability to work effectively within 8:1:1 or 12:1:3 classroom settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
Your Role Will Include:
- Delivering direct and consultative speech and language services to students, supporting communication and language development
- Evaluating and documenting student progress, contributing to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Adapting assessment and intervention techniques for students with ASD, severe multiple disabilities, and behavioral support needs
- Coordinating with classroom staff and families to ensure consistent and effective communication strategies
- Participating in team meetings, trainings, and professional development to enhance services and outcomes for students
Openings Available:
- 2 Full-Time positions in Onondaga County (Syracuse area), 12:1:3 classrooms
- 1 Part-Time (3–4 days/week) role in Cortland County, 8:1:1 classroom with a behavior support focus
