Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid NYS SLP license; CCCs strongly preferred, but open to Clinical Fellows
- Experience with school-based speech therapy or a strong desire to work in schools
- Comfortable working in ASD and severe disabilities settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities & Role Highlights
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in 12:1:3 and 8:1:1 programs
- Participate in IEP development, progress monitoring, and data collection
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to maximize student growth
- Provide behavior support as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Receive onsite supervision and mentorship (for CFs)
- Full-time opportunities (Onondaga County): Serve students with ASD and severe multiple disabilities
- Part-time options (Cortland County): Support students requiring intensive behavior support, 3-4 days per week
