Qualifications
- Active New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Possess Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification
- Clinical Certificate of Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- previous experience in pediatric or school-based speech settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students in both individual and group sessions
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student achievement
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Adhere to all district policies and state regulations
This position begins September 7, 2026, and continues through June 25, 2027. Work 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, providing critical support to one school community. Competitive compensation ranges from $50 to $55 per hour, with weekly pay for your convenience.
