Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working with elementary school-aged students preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and data collection
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to partner with educators, parents, and support staff
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students as specified in their IEPs
- Evaluate, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and maintain effective documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Engage in ongoing communication with families and school staff regarding student progress and intervention strategies
- Support a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
