Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Previous experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children in a school environment
- Strong knowledge of evaluation tools, treatment methods, and IEP documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Consult regularly with classroom teachers, parents, and other support personnel
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to developing collaborative educational plans
