Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly valued; strong clinical fellows (CFY) also considered
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
- Strong communication skills and ability to build partnerships with families and faculty
- Compassion, adaptability, and a genuine passion for student learning
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with various speech and language needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in accordance with each student’s IEP
- Document progress, outcomes, and maintain thorough records to support student achievement
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to ensure integrated support
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
- Provide guidance for classroom strategies to support generalization of communication skills
