School- Based Speech Language Pathologist | San Jose, CA
This onsite-only opportunity is located near Redwood City, CA, with the primary worksite in South San Jose. The assignment begins as soon as possible and concludes on June 11th. You’ll play a key role in helping students improve communication and succeed academically and socially.
Ideal candidates will have
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license
Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential, or California credential authorizing services as a Language, Speech & Hearing Specialist
Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Responsibilities include
Conducting assessments and evaluations for students referred for speech-language support
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and IEPs
Providing direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
Collaborating closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
Maintaining timely and thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
Participating in IEP meetings and contributing expertise on communication needs
Engaging in professional growth and adhering to ethical standards
