School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Sunnyvale, California
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting school communities with your expertise in speech-language pathology. This full-time role begins August 7, 2026, and offers a chance to make a significant difference until the position is filled, with an end date to be determined. The need for additional support is due to high caseloads, making your skills essential for ensuring students receive the attention they deserve.
In this dynamic position, you'll provide valuable assistance, helping manage rising caseloads. Each day, you'll bring your clinical knowledge and compassionate approach to a different school, supporting various sites on a rotating basis. While you won't serve as the primary SLP for any one campus, your contributions in both therapy and assessment will be vital to maintaining quality services district-wide.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Current SLP licensure with CCC credentials
- Experience working in school-based settings
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Comfort with switching locations—one school per day
- Excellent assessment, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility and a supportive, team-focused mindset
In this role, you will:
- Provide direct therapy and interventions to students
- Complete assessments to help manage overflow and ensure timely evaluations
- Collaborate with site-based SLPs, educators, and support staff
- Manage documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Adapt to different school environments and teams as you rotate among campuses
This opportunity runs Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 3 PM, and offers a competitive compensation of $115 per hour for your contribution and expertise.
