Speech Language Pathologist in Sunnyvale, CA
Step into a dynamic school-based opportunity in the vibrant community near Sunnyvale, CA, providing impactful support as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a full-time contract. Help meet the growing needs of school sites by offering crucial assessment and intervention for students, without being the primary SLP at any single location. This position offers variety: spend each day at a different school, collaborating closely with educational teams and helping ensure students receive the support they need.
Your assignment will begin on August 7, 2026, and continue until a permanent placement is made. The role features predictable hours, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 3pm, allowing for work-life balance while making a difference every day.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Relevant state licensure for school-based practice
- Previous experience supporting K-12 students preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Adaptable nature suited to working at multiple sites in a week
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students as assigned
- Conduct assessments and support evaluation caseloads for overloads
- Collaborate with site-based SLPs, educators, and support staff
- Travel between school sites (one per day; locations may rotate weekly)
- Maintain timely and accurate records on student progress
