School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Sunnyvale, California
Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist. This onsite role is ideal for a passionate professional ready to work with a diverse caseload of TK-8th grade students (approximately 20-30), including opportunities to utilize bilingual Spanish skills. Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
- Active California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably TK-8
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly desired
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities
- Comfortable working onsite in a school-based environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings for students across a range of grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote language development and student success
- Maintain thorough records and timely progress documentation for each student
- Deliver direct therapy services targeting articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders
- Support a receptive and inclusive learning environment, considering diverse backgrounds and needs
