Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in San Jose, CA

What you’ll bring:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Bilingual ability in Spanish (preferred and highly valued)
- Previous experience working with school-age children, particularly across TK-8 grades
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and special education processes
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for fostering student growth and participation in a collaborative educational setting
Your responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy services for a caseload of approximately 20–30 students
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in the IEP process as an integral team member
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create supportive environments for language development
- Monitor and document student progress toward goals, adapting interventions as needed
- Deliver culturally responsive services, with an emphasis on supporting bilingual learners
