School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Sunnyvale, California
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification to bring expertise and compassion to elementary school students in the Sunnyvale, CA area. This contract position provides flexibility for full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part-time arrangements, with immediate start through the end of the school year.
In this role, you'll work closely with students and educators across two high-caseload elementary campuses. For those seeking part-time, a 0.6 FTE schedule is available, with dedicated days at each site plus one day focused on assessments. Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Valid licensure for practice in California
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred
- Confidence managing substantial caseloads across multiple sites
- Familiarity with evaluation procedures, progress monitoring, and IEP processes
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Conduct assessments and re-evaluations to inform educational decisions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all timelines
