Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to adapt between preschool and elementary caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver speech and language therapy in accordance with IEP goals
- Implement evidence-based interventions for a range of communication needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Facilitate targeted group and individual therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in a timely manner
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP team discussions, and multi-disciplinary activities
