Speech-Language Pathologist in Stuart, FL
Step into a vibrant educational setting along the Southeast Florida Coast, supporting students’ communication growth while broadening your impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This unique, contract-based opportunity offers on-site roles in diverse school settings, ranging from a brand-new K-8 campus to supportive multi-SLP teams, across a selection of schools serving Pre-K through high school. Start August 5, 2026, and enjoy a fulfilling school year through June 1, 2027.
You’ll deliver comprehensive speech-language services, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help shape students’ success stories across one or two school sites. Choose from full-time or part-time assignments, with sites including elementary, middle, and high school settings, as well as specialized ASD, EBD, InD, and VE units. Eligible candidates can anticipate earning between $36 and $48 an hour, based on years of school-based experience.
What you’ll bring:
- Active SLP licensure in Florida (SLP-CCC preferred; will consider SLPA with local supervision)
- Experience in school-based SLP settings, ideally 0-10+ years
- Flexibility to work with varying caseload sizes, age groups, and disability profiles
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
What you’ll do:
- Assess and treat students with a range of speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Serve one or two campuses, providing either full-day or split schedules as aligned with assignment
