This full-time, onsite contract opportunity offers the chance to work in established school settings alongside dedicated professionals, with positions available at both a middle and elementary school in the area. The assignment runs from ASAP through the end of the school year in May 2027, with a weekly commitment of 35 hours.
What You'll Bring:
- Master’s degree and valid Florida SLP license
- Experience in school-based settings or a strong interest in school-aged speech-language pathology
- Familiarity or comfort working with various student populations (including those with low cognitive and behavioral needs, autism spectrum disorder, intensive and integrated Pre-K)
- Commitment to collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Adaptability and compassion when supporting diverse learners
Your Impact:
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to a diverse caseload (approximately 50 students at a middle school, up to 95 at the elementary level)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with other SLPs, SLPAs, teachers, and support staff
- Monitor student progress, maintain clear and timely records, and participate in IEP processes
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented atmosphere for students with unique needs
- Provide guidance and mentorship as part of a well-connected speech team
