Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Illinois SLP license, or eligibility to obtain before start date
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but clinical fellows (CFY) are welcome
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience is a plus, but not required
- Commitment to effective communication, collaboration, and student-centered practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students within the determined grade range (K-6 or K-8)
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student development
- Maintain thorough documentation aligned with state and district guidelines
- Participate in relevant meetings and professional development as needed
