Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Illinois SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in a school setting
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide screening, evaluation, and direct therapy to students with speech, language, voice, or fluency needs
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic student support
- Offer consultative support to teachers and families
