What you'll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or anticipated Illinois SLP license and PEL, or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) or eligibility to begin your Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Passion for working with children in school environments—elementary or K-8 experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills
- Dedication to evidence-based practice and individualized support for diverse student needs
Key responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic assessments, therapeutic intervention, and case management for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and monitor progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and develop individualized goals for each student
- Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision as needed
