We are seeking passionate professionals to fill six full-time Speech-Language Pathologist positions (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY), and applications from qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) are welcome as well. You will have the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the full academic year in an on-site capacity, with available needs in Southern, Central, and Eastern Peninsula areas.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Current or pending state licensure in Alaska (SLP or SLPA)
- Experience working with school-aged children is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to work on-site throughout the school year
- Willingness to travel--this is a travel position with a stipend included
Primary responsibilities include:
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Developing and implementing IEPs in collaboration with educational teams
- Maintaining thorough documentation and progress records
- Participating in team meetings and professional development activities
- Providing support and consultation to staff and families as needed
- Committing to serve in person at one or more locations within the district
