Your schedule will include on-site hours from 8:00 am to 12:15 pm, two days each week (Tuesdays and Thursdays preferred, though other days may be arranged to fit your needs). Working with a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students in grades 3-5, you will deliver direct, meaningful therapy that supports growth and communication success.
What you need:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience in school-based SLP roles, specifically with elementary-aged students
- Strong skills in providing direct therapy to small caseloads
- Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and families
What you’ll do:
- Administer speech-language therapy sessions for students in grades 3-5
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough records
- Adjust therapy interventions in partnership with educational teams
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as necessary
- Provide support and recommendations for classroom staff
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
