Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Texas SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Proficiency in working with pediatric populations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and maintain required documentation
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student development
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions
- Fulfill Medicaid billing and reporting requirements, as appropriate
Position Details:
- Full-time contract for the remainder of the school year
- Hybrid format: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote each week
- Pay: Starting at $45 per hour, with potential for more based on experience
