Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license and Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working in schools, ideally with elementary caseloads
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, articulation, and communication disorders in elementary-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for student progress and compliance
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services within classroom and pull-out settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and ongoing professional development
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and families to support students’ speech and language development
