Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting. This contract assignment spans approximately 12 weeks to cover a maternity leave, offering both full-time and part-time flexibility for the right candidate. You'll work onsite with a supportive team, focusing on a Pre-K through 4th grade caseload of about 50 students. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active state Speech-Language Pathologist license and current Educator Certificate required
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- School-based SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds welcome
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills for work with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver speech-language services for students Pre-K to 4th grade
- Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Foster an encouraging, inclusive, and positive learning environment
