Speech Language Pathologist in Springfield, MA

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure and SLP-CCC certification
- Prior experience working in school settings, especially with high school populations
- Skilled in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Demonstrated expertise in the use and implementation of AAC devices
- Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and a passion for individualized student support
- Commitment to meeting all state and program requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to high school students in a specialized, supportive setting
- Oversee and provide guidance to an onsite SLPA
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans focusing on functional communication and independence
- Collaborate with special education staff, counselors, and families to foster student progress
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with district and program standards
- Contribute to a positive, encouraging educational environment
