Speech Language Pathologist in Springfield, MA

Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in compliance with state requirements
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience providing services in a school setting, preferably at the high school level
- Demonstrated ability to support students with ASD and diverse learning needs
- Strong communication, organization, and supervisory skills; prior experience overseeing an SLPA is advantageous
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to high school students within a specialized program
- Evaluate students, develop and implement IEP goals, and provide progress reports
- Oversee and mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to ensure integrated student support
- Adapt intervention strategies to address individual learning profiles and promote skill acquisition for independence
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state policies
