Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP implementation, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and contribute to IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other support staff to integrate interventions effectively
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust therapy as needed
- Support and educate school staff on communication strategies and accommodations
- Contribute positively to multidisciplinary teams through case management and collaboration
